Today is my last day working at The Seattle Times. Two weeks ago I made the decision to accept an awesome opportunity and join the team at Urban Airship. I start at the end of this month and I'll be working remotely from Seattle.

Urban Airship has an impressive push notification service and they're building compelling front-end interfaces I'll get to help build. I was impressed with the team members I interviewed with and I'm excited to start working on the projects they have planned for this year!

In addition to meeting some great, new people, I also have the opportunity of working with some familiar faces: Niall Kelly, a friend I met while living in Lawrence, and two former co-workers (and friends!) from the Journal-World, Chris Dickinson and Daniel Lindsley.

I'm excited about this next chapter and I'm looking forward to getting started!
